Found 4 baby kittens in the riad we were staying in. the mother was nowhwere to be found

Health standards vary by region. Something tells me hanging meat out in 100+ degree heat isn't the best.

Went on my first camel ride for an hour. It was a lot of fun, but I was sore for a few days

Chillin before the ride

Old Bridge while on camel ride

Don't ask me what it is, because I don't know.. Just saw it on the beach and thought it looked cool

Each day in Essaouira, we would have lunch at the water at one of a dozen fresh seafood stands where you just pointed to what you wanted and they cooked it for you in minutes.

Just relaxing after a filling lunch

I only go for all natural ingredients (check the one in the middle)

Loved artwork this intricate in detail

Dinner just outside Marrakech at this phat Thai restaurant with an amazing ambience, second to none.

We visited a leather tanning cooperative. The fumes were too much to handle. It smelled like raw sewage mixed with curry. (enough said)

Trying to blend in with the locals. I didn't want to wear anything that made me look like a tourist. Passed with flying colors, ya think?

Local market, some people spotted me straight away as an American, others thought I was British and one thought i was an Aussie and kept calling me Kiwi.

What trip wouldnt be perfect without a visit to...

Little Sis pays a visit

I was happy to see my sister, Casey the other week when she paid me a visit and stayed at my apartment. We had a lot of fun, drinking, laughing and a whole lotta walking. She had just got back from travelling all over Greece and Italy. I tried to show her as much of Paris as I could on the limited time we had. We visited Le Marais (the Jewish Quarter), Sacre-Couer, Champs Elysees, Jardins de Luxembourg, le tour Eiffel, and all the big museums, Pompidou, MuseƩ D'orsay, Picasso Museum, the Louvre. The list goes on and on. Here are some pics from the trip. It was really great to see her. It was like old times, fighting like brother and sister and laughing a lot.

On another note, I was lucky to be able to find an internship for the month of July for a French/American company that specializes in post production work for films. The company name is Dubbing Brothers. Should be pretty sweet. All I need to find out is how they take their coffee. I think I may have more responsibilities than that. I think there's a cappucino machine somewhere in the building. I"ll keep you updated how the job progresses.

Casey's feet hurt so much she walked home without shoes, but I insisted she wear these before entering my apartment.

Casey wasn't too fond of this painting for some reason. Or maybe she didnt like that i was taking the photo
